OSM EDUARD HERBST– エドワルド・ヘルプストについて –

ご挨拶

My name is Eduard Herbst and I am Fashion shoe- and Orthopedic Shoe Meister from Austria.

When I came to Japan for the first time in July 1992 when, at that time Shoe Importer Mrs Alice Christian’s was searching for a Meister, I found the need in Japan for Medical grade footwear ominent.

On January 8th 1994 I entered Japan on Special skills visa to start working in Japan with K.K. Alice.

It as soon clear that with my own hands it was only possible to help a few patients in need, so the way to go was to teach as many Japanese technicians as possible.

For the teaching of modern medical grade footwear it was necessary to ready also highest quality equipment and machinery as well as an absolutely must to import not available Materials from Europe. 

In 2000 I started first as private enterprise and in 2001 I founded together with my wife OSM Herbst Co.,Ltd.

The M in OSM stands for 3 areas:

Meister for the the knowledge and providing this for Japanese technicians in School and Seminars all over Japan.
Machinery absolutely necessary to produce highest quality Medical grade Footwear.
Materials that make Medical grade footwear up to the high standard of Europe.

Our main goal will  always be stay on top i every area and always offer best quality and highest standards.
